You’ve Arrived at the Gift Shop

C’mon in.  No hard sales here.  I’ve come up with a variety of products that I truly believe are helpful for people in grief.  That includes:  music, books, movies (DVDs), exercise equipment (minimal), medical equipment to increase ability to function, and a few other odds and ends.  These are sold through my affiliate advertisers.  You don’t buy these from me; you link to reputable stores and make any purchases from them.

I’m proud to announce the ability to sell “Comfort Quilts” – something I wish I could have purchased in 1991 after my son died.  These handmade quilts (tied with double yarn) are made from the jeans of the person who died.  You can see sample quilts, but the sky is the limit with extras.  You can have a name or saying embroidered -- almost anything you want. Your quilt will be designed and crafted just for you.  The quilts can help soothe the overwhelming sense of missing our loved one's touch..  You can wrap yourself in the comfort of the quilt, use it on your bed, hang it on the wall … use it however you want.  Each quilt takes about one full week to make, and will be made with love and quality materials. Prices will vary, depending on size and the number of specialty items you want.  

We're also offering hand-made diamond willow walking sticks for people who would prefer not to use canes, but need a little support for getting around. These attractive walking sticks are made from Minnesota's finest wood and vary in size, cost, and the number of diamonds in each stick.  The wood will be finished.  You can order gemstones added, or feathers -- whatever you want that's legal and possible to get -- we'll do.  More description and detail about pricing is available by the pictures (prices are approximate but you'll be given an absolute cost when you order your quilt. Quality of workmanship is guaranteed.

I've also included some journals to help you document your journey. And the Gift Shop is where you’ll make a donation for workshops when that’s requested.

I don’t want to overwhelm anyone with selling.  You’ve paid a high-enough price.  But I firmly believe the items you find here will help you as you discover who you're becoming through your grief.
